I hereby apply for Sophomore Honors and for notation of that award on my transcript. I believe that I have met all the requirements as follows. I first accumulated a total of 54 credit hours at the end for the  semester of ; and my cumulative grade point average at that time was at least 3.5, specifically . At that time I earned a total of at least 28 credit hours in Honors courses or approved equivalents, including at least 16 credit hours in A-sections or Honors Alpha Courses. My cumulative grade point average in these A-sections/equivalents was at least 3.5, specifically .

The Undergraduate Honors Program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa is divided into two parts, Selected Studies, the lower division component for freshmen and sophomores, and Honors, the upper division component for juniors and seniors.
