JUNIORS AND SENIORS

All Honors juniors and seniors are required to meet with Honors Director Jon Goss prior to registration each semester.  These meetings are a chance to share your academic plan and evaluate your progress in the program.  We want to make sure that you are on track to complete the curricular and engagement requirements to graduate with the Honors degree and to complete the necessary documentation for your file. Priority registration is contingent upon attending a personal advising meeting and being in good standing in the Honors Program.

In addition to these individual meetings, there are group orientation sessions at the beginning of each semester for students at different stages in the upper division Honors Program. At these meeting we share with you some advice about successfully completing Honors, including such matters as dealing with faculty mentors and the rigors of conducting and writing up Senior Honors Projects. If you cannot make a scheduled group orientation, you must make an appointment for an individual meeting with the Director.
