    Two Honors students are also attending post-baccalaureate programs in Australia; the University of New South Wales Graduate Program in Epidemiology, and the University of Queensland Graduate Program in Human Nutrition.  Another Honors Student is attending the Torah Program at the Institute of Jewish Studies, Pardes University in Jerusalem.

UH Mānoa!

    That accomplishment is in addition to the many other Honors students who have enrolled in post-baccalaureate programs in Mānoa, including several in both the John A. Burns School of Medicine and the William S. Richardson School of Law as well as graduate programs in Clinical Psychology, Education, Educational Technology, English, History, Information/Computer Science, Microbiology, Oceanography, Political Science, Public Administration, Social Work, Sociology, and Spanish.

    From 2004-2007, one hundred sixty-three students have graduated with Honors degrees. Of those who have reported future plans, 75% are either in a graduate program or a professional school or have plans to apply to one. Four students are working as contract archaeologists around the world, including Egypt. Another student works at an internet company she co-founded. The major body of the students are or will be working at diverse jobs -- including the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program, Hawaii's Department of Education, and AmeriCorps -- and also with such companies as the Singapore Tourist Board, Orincon Defense, the San Jose Mercury News, the Honolulu Advertiser, Newsday, Honolulu Magazine, the Honolulu Symphony, Pacific Biomedical Research Center, the Hawaii Cancer Center, Straub Clinic, Kaiser Permanente, Verizon, and the Four Season Hotel.
