ART PERSPECTIVES

The “Perspectives” section of the newsletter is dedicated to providing a forum for student opinion and creative expression. We hope to soon publish a wide selection of work – poems, short stories, “op-ed” pieces, artwork and more. As such, we are very happy to be able to include the following pieces of artwork by Melanie Li. They constitute our second entry for this section of the newsletter and are the pioneering pieces of our Art Perspectives section. The Undergraduate Honors Program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa is divided into two parts, Selected Studies, the lower division component for freshmen and sophomores, and Honors, the upper division component for juniors and seniors.
