Roland Davis has been awarded two National Competition Awards from Downbeat Magazine

Roland Davis Highest Honors, Music (2004)

     Roland Davis, Highest Honors, Music (2004), has been awarded two National Competition Awards from Downbeat Magazine: Outstanding Performance, Jazz Soloist and Outstanding Performance, Blues/Rock Soloist.  These awards are nationally competitive and considered the highest in the country. 

     Roland also won a Downbeat award the year he graduated.  Details are in Downbeat magazine's June 2006 issue. Roland is currently pursuing two master’s degrees at the prestigious New England Conservatory of Music in Boston: composition and performance.
