Honors Program

Requirements

To remain in good standing for Selected Studies, students must:

• Take at least one A Section or Honors course per semester
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Fulfill the Engagement Requirement

To earn a Sophomore Honors Award, which is a distinction that earns a certificate of achievement and a special notation on the transcript, students need to fulfill the appropriate requirements as listed below:

• Sophomore Honors
  • 6 credits of A section courses
  • 6 credits of Honors courses
  • GPA of 3.25, in both Honors courses and overall
• Sophomore High Honors
  • 6 credits of A section courses
  • 6 credits of Honors courses
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5, in both Honors courses and overall
• Sophomore Highest Honors
  • 6 credits of A section courses
  • 6 credits of Honors courses
  • Minimum GPA of 3.75, in both Honors courses and overall
