
Fall Forum 2009
Preparing your poster
Posters must be no larger than 40" x 48". You may prepare your poster in any fashion, though we highly recommend you have it printed in a professional poster printer. We recommend that you use either MW PowerPoint or preferably a professional design software such as Adobe Illustrator to create your poster.
There is a lot of information about poster presentations available on the World Wide Web. A PowerPoint lecture, some of it cribbed from WWW sources, has been given for participants and may be accessed here:

Honors students only
For Honors students, the Honors Program will contribute up to $80 towards your costs of printing your poster provided that you print your poster on campus using the printer in the Computer Lab at the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR). You must first register for the Fall Forum and request a letter of authorization from the Honors Program which you must show at the time of printing.
Posters should be a maximum size of 40" x 48". Please make sure that you carefully follow instructions about the media and format of your files:

Please note that a $20 late fee will be accessed
for those printing their posters after December 3. This fee will
not be paid by the Honors Program!

Students may also want to use commercial printers such as FedExKinkos, which may have less strict deadlines, but you will find these are more expensive.
